Workshops for you! On self-care, setting boundaries and finding relaxation

Everyone seeks balance in life, and sometimes asks themselves what they get out of bed for. Informal care is based on the personal relationship you have. It can be nice to ‘be there’ for the other person and share beautiful moments. But it can also raise questions and setting boundaries can sometimes be difficult. It is accompanied by pain and loss and can have a great impact on your life. That is why Surplus organizes three consecutive workshops entitled: ‘What are you getting out of bed for’ for people who care for their partner for a long time.

During the workshops, we will talk together about loss, acceptance and especially the question, “What do you actually get out of bed for?” Everyone finds a way to cope with stress. What helps you sustain care and gives you energy? Is what you do in the short term also helpful in the long term? What can you do yourself to keep a positive focus? Together we will do assignments and share experiences.
