When you stand next to someone who is seriously ill, your world changes just as much. Many partners experience guilt, worry, stress or a sense of constant uncertainty. It can be a great help to meet people who understand what you are going through - people who are going through the same thing and know what it really feels like. Our support group brings partners of people with incurable diseases together. A safe place where everything can be discussed and where there is room for both sorrow and humor, for chaos and insight. The group is guided by Helga and Hennie, both associated with Poppy's.

“The whole group knows why you are there and what you are going through, everyone understands each other, and takes time for each other. Everything is discussable which is not always possible in your family or relatives. You learn the most from fellow sufferers. A tear and a laugh, everything stays within the group.”
