In February 2026, a conversation group for people coping with the death of a close family member/friend will start in Oosterhout from prevention of mental health center.
The first period after death is often emotional and hectic. Often people only experience the real loss in the period after the funeral or cremation. The lives of those around them go on, while the loss of a loved one comes to the fore in the smallest of moments. Everyone processes this in his or her own way.
During six meetings of the grief support group, we discuss the death, additional emotions and memories. Practical tools are offered on how to deal with the grieving process and there is plenty of room for sharing personal experiences. The goal is to eventually be able to look forward in a new way.

Costs: Funded by municipality of Oosterhout, among others, so free of charge for residents. Residents of municipality Oosterhout, Etten-leur, Breda, Altena may participate!
