Informal care is invaluable, but it does not always come naturally. We emphasized this again last year during our out.of.love campaign. After all, informal care requires time, attention and sometimes more energy than you think you have. But it is supported by something beautiful: love and care for another person. That is exactly what makes informal care so special.
With that thought, we at Surplus Mantelzorg express our appreciation to all informal caregivers. You care, not because you have to, but because you care about someone else. Because you love. Because you love. Thanks to your dedication, you make a difference for the person you care for, and that deserves more than a thank you.
We are approaching the end of 2024 and the holidays are upon us. We realize that care from family caregivers does not stop during the holidays. Still, we hope you will enjoy the holidays and find a moment to think of yourselves. To pause for a moment, to recharge, because you too deserve that.
There is love in everything you do - in the big and small gestures, in a listening ear or a helping hand. That is what makes informal care special. In the new year, Surplus Mantelzorg remains ready to support you wherever possible. From coaching, information and advice, to training, courses and activities that help relax and ease the burden of care.
